The Past  
Born in Gerona Spain to a Danish mother
and an English father. There Miriam lived
for the first six years of her life and was
exposed to the vibrant culture and music
of flamenco. Her father a flamenco dancer
influenced her greatly by bringing her along
to live performances.
Miriam soon left Spain for Denmark
with her mother and began singing in a
churchchoir and there learned to sing by
the age of 12. At 14 Miriam then left for
Germany to visit her father. In Germany
apart from schoolwork, Miriam became
involved in the live music scene and by
the ripe old age of 14 she was fronting an
up and coming rock band that was doing
regular live work. Already then the once
ARIOLA now BMG was courting the talents
of this amazing young singer and her band
‘ANXIOUS HEROES’.
After 3 years she was back in Denmark
continuing to study music and singing with a
multitude of private tutors. At the age of 22
Miriam went to America where she won a
scholarship to further her singing talents at the
International Conservatorium of Music & The
Arts, Lexington Kentucky U.S.A. It was while in
America studying at the conservatorium Miriam
began being offered session work, both live and
studio.
Upon coming home to Denmark after the 1 year
scholarship Miriam was soon offered a record
deal by EMI-Medley as a solo artist amidst now
a busy flury of session work. The album was in
its pre - production stage when Miriam`s private
life was taking a serious turn. The outcome was
that Miriam got married and moved to Australia
and the record was post-poned indefinitely.
In Australia Miriam continued her session work
for numerous labels, publishers and artists and
during that time was invited by family back to
Denmark where she is once again busy with
music.

The Present

Miriam is presently finishing the final year of
Catherine Sadolin’s elite school of complete
vocal technique. Catherine’s revolutionary
technique has created a huge demand within the
industry world wide for educated vocal coaches
that can teach this technique.
Apart from her own private singing student’s
Miriam also conduct’s her own singing
workshop’s. But beside all the theory and singing
student’s, Miriam’s true passion is to sing her
own composition’s. Miriam has a large libarary of
her own contemparary composition’s which she
hope’s one day to release. Though when she’s
not teaching or writing you can find Miriam out
and about giging all over the country side with a
variety of different act’s.
